Italy and Mexico two nations separated by an ocean but similar on the understanding and opportunities plan that can be created from the cooperation between these two countries.
It was 1980 when the first agreement between Italy and Mexico was signed, an agreement on the agro-industrial cooperation to which many others have followed over the years. The agreements between Italy and Mexico regarding various application field such as tourism, research, culture and the last memorandum that were signed two days ago by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and the President of the United states of Mexico, Enrique Pena Nieto.
This two agreements that have been signed, are important under the collaborative aspect that exists between Italy and Mexico and will certainly strengthen the agreements made from 1980 to present, in a more collaborative and development perspective between these two countries.
President Mattarella stressed that “ the width of these agreements shows how great, in every aspects and fields, is the collaboration between Mexico and Italy”
Mattarella has therefore highlighted the desire for collaboration in many sectors, citing “ the constantly effort of seeking peace, dialog and collaboration” and on the economic field the bilateral collaboration: this common vision of the international economic relation- he explained- urges Italy to strongly support the need that the global agreement, in force between Mexico and EU, will be “revised, improved, adapted, expanded and made more consistent.”
The importance of creating cooperation between countries, can lead to the creation of agreement projects for the development of specific sector between Mexico and Italy, sector like wine where Vivitalia, an Italo-Mexican company that also deals with the promotion of the Veneto wine landscape in Mexico, is trying to raise awareness of the Italian and Veneto culture in Mexico, disseminating information and promoting the Veneto region in all its peculiarities from the north to the south of the region.
The creation of cultural projects, which can lead to the development of Mexican communities, are crucial because allows the creation of protocols of understanding and projects for the advancement of sectors such as tourism and culture, very important not only from the economic point of view but above all from the human and collaborative point of view between two peoples who although separated by a great distance have common and similar cultural aspects ( like the root of the tongue).
The five memorandums that have been signed, will lead in the next years to the improvement and enhancement of the cooperation between this two Country also remembering the effort and the path taken so far.
