Company History
The winery Colli del Soligo was founded in 1957 by the will of a group of winemakers, all sharing the passion for Prosecco and for their territory
The company is located half way along the “Strada del Prosecco” between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, to the foot of the beautiful and steep hills that are home to lush vineyards, harvested only by hand
As an Agricultural Cooperative Society, it soon became a reference point for the farmers in the Area. The cooperative was founded by 30 members and nowadays they are about 660 for a total of 800 hectares of vineyards
In addition to its Headquarters in Pieve di Soligo, the winery can count on an additional harvesting and wine-making centre, reserved for the production of still wines made from grapes from the Montello Area.
What we do
The winery is specialized in the production of Sparkling wine with Charmat method, and its top product is the Conegliano-Valdobbaidene Prosecco Superiore Docg (i.e controlled and guaranteed designation of origin).
Around 150.000 quintals of grapes per year are delivered to the winery and 85% of the grapes produced is of Glera variety (a grape used for the Prosecco), while the remaining 15% is represented by Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet, Raboso and Black Pinot. The winery is equipped with a high wine-making technology lab, aimed at monitoring the quality standards of musts, wines and sparkling wine.
60% of the production is bottled and sold, the remaining 40% instead is bought in bulk from the bottlers of the area.
The entire line of products with Soligo logo is available for direct purchase at “La Bottega del Vino, a modern shop, located in the area adjacent to the winery, which serves as a meeting point to approach the wine culture for costumers and tourists, through guided tours and tastings of the various products
